Insomniac will continue its 30th-anniversary celebrations with the debut edition of EDSea, its first-ever cruise ship festival, from November 4-8, 2023.
With the event less than two months away, Pasquale Rotella has revealed the fun themes that will transform the ship daily and night on its musical trip from Miami to the Bahamas.
Though festival theming will remain the same for both day and night on day one, each sunrise and sunset throughout the rest of the cruise will bring an exciting new party vibe. EDSea’s maiden voyage will begin with a 70s-style “Electric Disco” theme on Saturday, November 4.
Next, on Sunday, November 5, attendees should lather up with sunscreen and bust out their bathing suits for EDSea’s “Baewatch” theme by day before swashbuckling their way into the night for the “Ravers Of The Caribbean” theme.
On Monday, November 6, EDC will kick off its old school with a “Hip-Hop Hoorave” theme inspired by all the previous raves. Throwback pieces like phat pants and overalls are strongly encouraged. Bedtime routines will be much quicker later that night when the ship becomes an epic slumber party for the “Pajama Jam” theme.
On EDSea’s final day, Tuesday, November 7, guests will bring some Miami flavor to the pool deck with the “Vice In Paradise” theme before refining their looks for an elegant “Masquerave” theme at night.
With eight stages on board the Norwegian Joy’s 15 decks – each playing host to top-notch performances from artists like Benny Benassi, Zeds Dead, Afrojack, Ferry Corsten, Kai Wachi, SLANDER presents Before Dawn, and more – it’s no surprise that rooms for EDSea have sold out.
To those who managed to grab a spot on board, get packing! Those who missed out can still join the official EDSea waitlist here.
