Electric Forest Reveals 2023 Ticket On-Sale Dates And Huge Price Increases

Electric Forest just dropped their 2023 ticket on-sale dates and several big updates on prices that have left some attendees with sticker shock over the increase.

The base price of a general admission ticket is now $552.90 with all fees included. This does not contain the previously included Car Camping Pass which must now be purchased separately for $79.88 with all fees.

One user claimed that they bought their ticket in 2020, that was delayed until 2022, for $424.97 for GA with car camping.

The Loyalty ID process has also changed, no longer allowing previous Electric Forest attendees to give their code to other purchasers. Electric Forest commented on Festive Owl’s Twitter “As a reminder, the new permanent Loyalty IDs and their associated benefits are locked to accounts, and can not be shared, sold, traded or given away.”

This means that if a Forest veteran can no longer afford to go this year, they can’t give a Forest hopeful their code to help them get discounts or increase their chances of getting a ticket. Many also claim they didn’t receive their new Forest Loyalty ID and may be unable to use it to purchase tickets.

This could be Insomniac’s way of countering issues with overcrowding as fewer festival fans will want to spend the extreme prices.

Electric Forest general public on-sale will be on December 9, 2022 with the most senior veteran Forest Loyalty on sale December 5, 2022. Group camping, lockers, and shuttles will go on sale in the new year, but 2023 shuttle route details are now available.
