Electric Forest Announces 2022 Dates, Shares New Mini-Doc

Electric Forest is returning to Sherwood Forest in Rothbury Michigan, June 23-26 2022. To celebrate the return of the event following two years off, the festival has shared a brand new mini-documentary entitled A Million Shining Lights.

The 15-minute film goes into the entire history of the event. From the initial skepticism of hosting a festival among trees rather than in an open field. To the combining of the jam band and EDM communities.

As the footage progresses, artists and figures in music like CloZee, GRiZ, 12th Planet, and Insomniac Founder, Pasquale Rotella, share their unique connection to the event. Voicemails and penciled animations also play throughout the doc detailing touching experiences and testimonials from Forest Family themselves.
