The festival has been postponed due to the ongoing effects of COVID-19
Unfortunately for the #ForestFam, Electric Forest will be moving to 2022 after previously rescheduling to August of 2021. A few months ago, the festival had commented that it was currently working tirelessly to investigate all options regarding a decision on this year’s festival, however, Electric Forests’ top priority is and always will be the safety of its fans. The festival released the following statement on its social media accounts regarding the decision,
“While we all miss each other tremendously and can’t wait to connect again, the safety of the Forest Family and the community that hosts us remains of utmost importance. We must balance our optimism with realism – and we must respect the process in place, the efforts underway, and the sacrifices we’ve all made over the last year in an effort to keep each other safe.”
Ticketholders have the option to either refund their tickets entirely or have their tickets roll over to 2022. There has not been a date announced for 2022 yet, but the festival typically occurs in late June or early July. We will keep you updated with more information regarding Electric Forest once it is released.
