Eric Prydz’s trailblazing HOLO show has dominated the dance music conversation for over six years. Now, the progressive legend is continuing to innovate with an all-new audiovisual show called [CELL].
Prydz will debut the new show concept on June 24, 2024, at Hï Ibiza, where it will be a staple of the weekly White Isle clubbing calendar through September 9—just as HOLO was last season.
Whereas Prydz’s 2023 Ibiza residency involved adapting the massive HOLO spectacle for the nightclub environment, [CELL] has been built specifically for Hï Ibiza’s spacious Theatre room, once again marrying the superclub’s technologically advanced production specs with Prydz’s tireless creativity.
Little is known about the new [CELL] show. Still, the Hï Ibiza team has promised that the experience “will set a new benchmark for nightlife innovation” with an “epic soundtrack” and “larger-than-life stage production”—a winning formula that has seen the futuristic club usher in a new era of partying in Ibiza since its opening in 2017.
With an urban rave aesthetic and blisteringly quick visuals, Prydz’s new teaser video for the [CELL] project looks like something straight out of Cyberpunk, and DJ Mag’s World No. 1 club—two years running—should be the perfect place for some high-octane clubbing in 2024.
Beyond Prydz’s immersive new experience, Hï Ibiza will host residencies from even more venerated house and techno players this year, including The Martinez Brothers, Tale Of Us, FISHER, Black Coffee, Damian Lazarus and more.
