Eric Prydz Confirms Release Dates For Two New Singles Under His Pryda Alias

Superstar DJ and producer Eric Prydz has announced new music from his Pryda alias for the first time since 2019.

After giving fans a sneak peak of the new Pryda music at Barcelona’s Sónar festival last month—equipped with a breathtaking new live visual—Prydz confirmed the release dates for two new singles on Twitter yesterday.

The Swedish artist who has gained viral popularity this year thanks to the jaw-dropping visual production of his HOLO shows, will release “The Return” on July 14 and “Of Me” on July 28.

Prydz has been heralded as a multi-talented mega star across a variety of genres including progressive house and techno, breaking onto the scene with his 2004 hit “Call On Me.”

Like many popular EDM acts in today’s scene, Prydz has created multiple aliases that give him space to experiment with sounds and release music outside of his hallmark Eric Prydz act.

Pryda, which has served as an outlet for Prydz since the beginning of his career, represents a more upbeat and classic progressive house vibe that differs from his currently darker, more industrial sounding main act. The moniker serves as the namesake of his label Pryda Recordings.

Following suit, “The Return” and “Of Me” both feature dynamite synths and epic builds that may just turn out to be true progressive house gold.
