If you don’t have plans for Halloween weekend, you do now: Escape SoCal 2017!
Escape: Psycho Circus takes place October 27 & 28 at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino. This is always one of the biggest and best festivals here in Southern California from EDC Vegas promoters Insomniac. Here is a fun fact: Escape is also the largest Halloween music festival in all of North America!
Insomniac Events has released it’s massive lineup for it’s 7th annual party. Eric Prydz, Alan Walker, Boys Noize (live), Darren Styles, DJ Snake, Don Diablo, Duke Dumont, Green Velvet, Flosstradamus, Jamie Jones presents Paradise, Marshmello, Nero (DJ set), Nicole Moudaber presents Moodzone, Pan-Pot, Rezz, Tiesto, Zedd and dozens more. There will be more than 75 out of this world performances. Stages will be hosted by Audiotistic, Basscon, Bassrush and Factory 93 brands. I’ve attended 6 of 7 Escape festivals and this year’s lineup is serious business!
Besides the beats, there will be a number of tricks and treats! Expect everything from fortune telling, burlesque shows, tarot card reading, contortionists and tightrope walkers.
If you want a good scream – be sure to visit the Haunted Asylum. It’s a sinister 3200 square foot maze with 30 different rooms and 120 costumed characters creeping around every corner waiting to strike. You’ll have to strap yourself into a straightjacket and mask before you go inside! Sounds like fun, right?
Last year more than 110,000 people attended Escape, making it the largest event in it’s history! You can expect more than 55,000 people per day. Escape sold out last year and I would assume it will sell out earlier this year because of the freakishly insane lineup.
