Excision’s Bass Canyon festival is heading back to The Gorge.
The dubstep don’s Pacific Northwest bass music blowout will make its return to George, Washington’s stunning Gorge Amphitheatre from August 15-17, 2025, organizers announced last week.
The announcement marks the earliest date reveal in the festival’s seven-year history, and in another unprecedented move, 2025 passes are already on sale, marking Bass Canyon’s earliest ticket release ever and giving headbangers additional time to plan their pilgrimage to one of the country’s most picturesque venues.
Lineups will be announced at a later date, but last year’s festival featured performances from top bass artists like Orhun Uygur, Ganja White Night, and ATLiens, in addition to its traditional nightly headline sets from Excision.
Bass Canyon organizers have also unveiled several improvements to this year’s festival experience. For 2025, Bass Canyon has debuted its most accessible payment plans ever, including a new 10-part plan that requires a $50 deposit for all orders under $2,000.
The festival will also expand its transportation options with a new Portland shuttle route. Joining its two existing Seattle pickup locations, the new route will make the journey to The Gorge “more convenient than ever,” according to organizers. Additional improvements include upgraded amenities across both general admission and VIP passes, such as free showers for all campers and elevated VIP areas.
In addition to Bass Canyon’s annual romp at The Gorge, a venue renowned for its massive sloping lawn and beautiful views of the Columbia River Gorge below, the Canadian producer’s Excision Presents event outfit is known for helming Excision’s flagship Lost Lands festival in Ohio and Paradise Blue, a destination festival in Mexico. Last month, Excision Presents announced that Paradise Blue will not be held in 2025.
