With EDC Las Vegas and EDC Week less than one month away, most of Insomniac’s city-wide gigs are set, but that doesn’t mean the festival giant hasn’t thrown in a few last-minute surprises. Factory 93 has just announced a second EDC Week show with Adam Beyer and Nicole Moudaber.
Kicking off at 10:30PM on Thursday, May 16—the night before EDC kicks off at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway—Insomniac’s house and techno brand, Factory 93, will host the two techno giants at The Cosmopolitan’s Marquee Nightclub.
Beyer and Moudaber will then follow their EDC Week performances with day one appearances at EDC on Friday, May 17. Beyer will perform solo, while Moudaber is slated for an epic back-to-back with Carl Cox in addition to her own solo set.
While the respective Drumcode and MOOD label bosses are spinning at Marquee on Thursday, Factory 93 will simultaneously host fellow techno heavyweights Lilly Palmer and Nico Moreno over at Las Vegas’ Nine Twenty Warehouse.
Tickets for Palmer and Moreno are sold out, so Beyer and Moudaber’s gig should be an excellent consolation prize for techno fans who missed out.
Following a busy Miami Music Week last month—including a ten-year anniversary celebration for her seminal In The MOOD party series—Moudaber will next head to Madrid for elrow Town and San Francisco for a Burning Man sound camp fundraiser for Playground.
Immediately following her EDC performance, she’ll link back up with Cox for his Carl Cox Invites show in NYC before playing Detroit’s Movement Music Festival later in the month.
Beyer’s road to EDC will also run through elrow Town Madrid, but first, he’ll perform at Sónar Istanbul and Hï Ibiza’s 2024 Opening Party.
Last week, Beyer’s new collaborative remix of Sharam’s “Party All The Time” with Green Velvet and Layton Giordani grabbed the No. 1 spot in Beatport’s Top 100. Still on top seven days later, the track marks both Beyer’s and his Drumcode label’s first Beatport No. 1.
