Intimate Desert Festival FORM Shares Lineup For 2024 Return

FORM, one of the United States’ most critically acclaimed boutique festivals, is returning for the first time since 2019. Today, organizers have shared the full lineup for its comeback this fall.

Held in the tiny desert eco-city of Arcosanti, Arizona, about an hour’s drive from Phoenix, the three-day multi-genre event is famous for bucking any and all commercial festival trends, with intimate stage builds, only 2,500 attendees, no VIP passes, and a performance schedule with zero overlapping set times, meaning attendees can catch every single act on the bill.

Those lucky enough to snatch up tickets to FORM 2024, which returns on October 4-6, will have a chance to revel in performances from electronic standouts like Skrillex, Four Tet, Bonobo, James Blake, Floating Points, Jamie xx, Oneohtrix Point Never, Nia Archives, and Barry Can’t Swim, among others.

The festival’s indie ethos thrives in the instrumental space as well, with additional show-stopping performances from Thundercat, Mustafa, PinkPantheress, Angel Olsen, Kevin Morby, Noname, Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon, and many more.

Founded by Hundred Waters drummer Zach Tetreault in 2014, FORM ran for six years before a timely decision to take a year off after the festival’s 2019 edition, just months before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down live music events worldwide. Now back to mark its 10-year anniversary, the festival sold out tickets in under 24 hours, according to Rolling Stone.

In addition to taking in live music, FORM attendees are encouraged to explore immersive art installations, area desert hiking trails and the unique architecture of Arcosanti, founded in 1970 as the world’s first prototype “arcology,” an amalgamation of global architectures “that offers an alternative to urban sprawl.”
