Four Tet Reveals He’s Working On His First Album In 3 Years

Four Tet has quickly become one of the most prominent figures of 2023 with his friends and collaborators Skrillex and Fred again.., but now Four Tet is back on his own announcing he’s working on a new album.

He tweeted recently, “I’m working on a new album,” simply updating his fans on his upcoming work. He also stated he is working with guitarist William Tyler, who Four Tet has been a fan of since 2013.

Four Tet is a legend and tastemaker in dance music, often dropping albums under aliases and co-producing tracks for gigantic names.

The upcoming album will be Four Tet’s, real name Kieran Hebden, 12th album and first in three years since Parallel dropped under the alias ⣎⡇ꉺლ༽இ•̛)ྀ◞ ༎ຶ ༽ৣৢ؞ৢ؞ؖ ꉺლ. This was a day after his 871 LP was released under another strange pseudonym 00110100 01010100.

But the exact day for the album’s release is unknown and Four Tet seems to already have a busy 2023 ahead. In August, he will go back-to-back with Skrillex at HARD Summer at the new super-venue of Exposition Park, the Los Angeles Coliseum, and BMO Stadium.

And in February, he performed with Skrillex and Fred again.. at a sold-out impromptu show at Madison Square Garden alongside a stretch of pop-ups and underground events in New York.
