Earlier this year, Four Tet, under the name KH, released “Looking At Your Pager”, a track that samples 3LW’s 2000 hit “No More (Baby I’ma Do Right)”. Now Bosnian-German DJ Solomun has added his unique touch to the highly-acclaimed track.
KH, short for Four Tet’s real name Kieran Hebden, said about the original, “This track was made in the summer last year just before my first festival set in a long time. I wanted something new to play that would feel universal, positive, and futuristic and this is what I came up with.”
Now Solomun’s remix is here with a mind-blowing breakdown of driving kicks and deep bouncing synths. The drop is dreamy and dark with elements of 80s to 2000s nostalgia woven into the main melody. The remix is incredibly versatile and could easily fit into an underground warehouse or a festival set.
Producer and DJ Solomun has become a legend in his own right with his infamous “Solomun +1’” parties. They started at the iconic venue Pacha in Ibiza and have since grown around the world. He’s also no stranger to remixing as he’s previously put his spin on tracks by Rüfüs Du Sol, Boys Noize, and Golden Features.
