Four Tet, Skrillex, and Fred again..‘s legendary closing set for Coachella 2023 is finally out on YouTube.
The internet went absolutely wild after Frank Ocean dropped out of his headlining slot for the second weekend of Coachella. blink 182 was officially announced as the replacement for Ocean, but when the set times came out, another artist—”tba”—was set to perform after the veteran pop punk band.
Soon after, it was revealed that 2023’s favorite DJ team of Four Tet, Skrillex, and Fred again.. would be the surprise closers, using the term “OMG TBA” to mark the set and even selling shirts with the new name on them.
The set truly lived up to the hype as well. With the three mega producers setting up on the ice rink that Frank Ocean planned to use but eventually scrapped, the performance took place in the round. Fans encircled the trio like the world’s biggest Boiler Room set
The crowd went wild over viral tracks like “Rumble,” “COUNTRY RIDDIM” by HOL!, and “RATATA“—which was teased cheekily by Four Tet cutting the song multiple times to make it even more high-energy.
