Four Tet, Skrillex, & Fred again.. To Close Out Coachella Weekend 2

Dance music fans at Coachella weekend two are in for a surprise once-in-a-lifetime performance as Skrillex, Four Tet, and Fred again.. were tapped to close out the festival with a back-to-back on Sunday.

After the contentious performance from Frank Ocean that closed out weekend one of Coachella last Sunday and the artist ultimately pulling out of the festival, many were wondering who would replace him.

While Blink 182 was tapped to replace Ocean as the third headliner, the set times did show a to-be-announced artist playing after the rock group on Sunday.

And in true Pangbourne House Mafia style, as they have been dubbed, the trio of Skrillex, Four Tet, and Fred again.. revealed they are the surprise final performers at Coachella.

Fred again.. wrote on Instagram, “OH MY GOD. TBA. Coachella. Sunday night,” alongside a screenshot of the trio on Facetime. He continued, “Didn’t think I was gonna be back with my brothers like this for a longgggg time. Until last night. And here we are. We’ve seen all your lovely messages. I so appreciate you guys. Let’s have an absolute TIME.”

According to Billboard, the trio will play in the circular stage previously built as an ice rink for Frank Ocean’s set.

And fans can expect anything from the renegade trio, including potentially music from one of Skrillex’s teased upcoming third and fourth albums.
