Four Tet has set an official release date for his 12th studio album and shared another new single from the forthcoming project.
Three will arrive via the British artist’s Text Records imprint on March 15, 2024. It will be available in vinyl, CD, and digital formats.
Spanning eight tracks in length, the project will be Four Tet’s first full-length album in just over three years, following 2020’s Parallel, which featured several tracks originally released under his wingdings alias ⣎⡇ꉺლ༽இ•̛)ྀ◞ ༎ຶ ༽ৣৢ؞ৢ؞ؖ ꉺლ.
The news follows yesterday’s announcement that the masterful electronic producer–AKA Kieran Hebden–will curate his own two-day Four Tet & Friends party in Brooklyn this May, with performances from Ben UFO, Daphni B2B Floating Points, Sammy Virji and more.
Fans have patiently awaited the release of Four Tet’s new album–provisionally titled TEXT055, since he first announced the project in April 2023. Anticipation has only swelled following a busy year of touring and landmark collaborations with his friends Skrillex and Fred again...
Building on the excitement further, Four Tet has released a third single from the upcoming album today. “Daydream Repeat” now joins two previously shared singles from Three, including “Loved” and “Three Drums.”
