Freaky Deaky is debuting in New Orleans with a spooky good lineup this Halloween weekend.
Disco Presents’ long-running Halloween-themed rave heads south for its first edition in the Big Easy on October 30-31, bringing performances from over a dozen leading dance DJs to Mardis Gras World.
Porter Robinson (DJ set) and FISHER lead the inaugural bill alongside genre-curated support acts each night. Renowned bass players such as Of The Trees, Dabin, Jkyl & Hyde, Know Good, and Canabliss support Robinson on night one, while FISHER is joined by house and techno favorites like Chris Lorenzo, Devault, bradeazy, XANDRA, and SKILAH on night two. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
The landmark collaboration with storied New Orleans promoters Encore Entertainment, The Metropolitan, and Amps Events promises to serve thousands of costumed dance fans with towering production, theatrical staging, roaming performers, interactive experiences, and local vendors, as the partners look to combine their decades of live events experience in the city to create “a new marquee destination for electronic music fans” on the party-heavy holiday, according to a press release.
Building on the success of Freaky Deaky’s flagship edition in Austin, Texas, the festival’s arrival in New Orleans, a city hallowed for its haunting history and outsized Halloween celebrations, also marks a homecoming for Disco Presents. Long before building one of the continent’s top independent electronic music event outfits, founder James “Disco” Donnie Estopinal got his start throwing underground raves in his NOLA hometown more than three decades ago.
“New Orleans is home. It’s where I threw my first raves over 30 years ago, so this one’s personal,” Estopinal said in a statement. “I think people are going to love what we’ve built.”
Tickets for Freaky Deaky NOLA 2026 go on sale this Thursday, July 23, at 10AM CT. Fans are encouraged to buy early, as prices will increase closer to the festival.
