Fred again.. has announced an eagerly anticipated run of North American headline tour dates this fall.
The Grammy-winning superstar’s 14-date “places we’ve never been tour” will open at Denver’s Ball Arena on September 11, three days after his newly announced album, ten days, is slated to arrive on September 6.
Touching down in several cities where Fred is yet to play on his meteoric rise, the tour will run through Seattle, Minneapolis, Detroit, Toronto, Atlanta, and more before coming to a close at Fort Worth, Texas’ Dickies Arena on October 13. Check out the full list of dates below. More shows will be added in the coming weeks.
“Whenever we go to the US I hear about (and sometimes see from the plane!!) alll these mad places that we haven’t gotten to go to and explore,” Fred wrote on Instagram today. “So yeah I can’t waittttt to see these parts and play some shows in some magical places.”
The tour announcement sees Fred fulfill a promise to play shows across the “rest of america” following a busy summer of landmark performances at some of the country’s most revered events and venues, including a special guest appearance at EDC Las Vegas, an impromptu rave with Skrillex in San Francisco, a headline performance at Bonnaroo, and his first-ever stadium show at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Last month, Fred sent shockwaves through the scene with a surprise announcement on Instagram, reading simply, “I think I jus finished an album.” Last week, he returned to social media to share new details on the forthcoming project and reveal its title, ten days.
The 10-track LP includes high-profile collaborations and features from Skrillex, Four Tet, Duskus, Joy Anonymous, The Japanese House, and many more, as well as previously released singles like “adore u” with Obongjayar, “ten” with Jozzy and Jim Legxacy, and “places to be” with Anderson .Paak and CHIKA.
Pre-sale registration for Fred again..’s 2024 “places we’ve never been tour” is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin this Thursday, August 8, at 12PM local time. General on-sale will follow on Friday, August 9, at 12PM local time.
