Fred again.. just shared one more ID from his internationally acclaimed Boiler Room set, “Kammy (like i do),” featuring a vocal sample from singer-songwriter KAMILLE.
“Kammy (like i do),” has Fred again..’s signature fast-paced drums along with a creative tension and melodic minimalism that goes perfectly with the painful lyrics.
Fred again.. wrote about the new song on his social media, “To me this is kinda like a twin to smile on my face because it’s about diving further and further down into something that alienates you from everyone around you. Like when she says they can’t love you like I do, it never felt to me like a positive lyric weirdly. It felt like two people just alienating the rest of the world in a painful way.”
So far, Fred again.. has released at least three tracks that will later appear on his third full-length album, Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9 2022), set for release October 28. His albums are autobiographical, using voice notes and samples from his friends and songs that resonated with him at that time in his life.
