Fred again.. has announced his first-ever stadium show at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Teaming up with celebrated California promoter Goldenvoice, the Grammy-winning producer will headline the 77,000-capacity football stadium this Friday, June 14.
Sharing the surprise news on social media yesterday, Fred again.. wrote, “Our first stadium! We been working on this for monthsssss and its definitely the maddest live show we’ve ever tried to do so far.”
The landmark show announcement follows a series of highly touted U.S. performances from the London-based artist in recent weeks. After a special guest appearance at EDC Las Vegas last month, Fred teamed up with his pal Skrillex to host an impromptu rave at San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza on June 1, followed by a three-night run of intimate solo shows at Stanford’s Frost Amphitheater last week.
Though California has been a recent hotspot for Fred again.. gigs, more shows elsewhere in the U.S. are coming soon. Two days after playing the LA Coliseum, Fred will head to Bonnaroo for his only U.S. festival headline play of 2024, and the “leavemealone” producer notably closed his stadium announcement with the words, “rest of america i got u bare wit me for later this year.”
Last month, Fred again.. released his anticipated single, “places to be” with Anderson .Paak. Other releases to materialize from Fred this year include “stayinit” with Lil Yachty and Overmono, “ItsNotREEAALLLLLLLL” with Duoteque and Orion Sun, and his Gesaffelstein rework, “BerywnGesaffNeighbors,” all of which feature on his recent compilation album, USB.
Those who missed out on pre-sale tickets for Fred’s LA Coliseum show can try their shot with the general on-sale here, kicking off today, June 10 at 1PM PT.
