Fred again.. Shares Details On New Album, ‘ten days’

Fred again.. has officially announced his new album, ten days.

After teasing the release in an Instagram post last month with the simple words, “I think I jus finished an album,” the prized British producer and DJ returned to social media today to share new details on the project, which is slated for release via Warner Music on September 6.

The 10-track LP is equipped with an abundance of new high-profile collaborations and features from Skrillex, Four Tet, Duskus, Joy Anonymous, Sampha, The Japanese House, Emmylou Harris, and legendary late Bay Area DJ Scott Hardkiss, among others.

“My new record is called ten days. It’s ten songs about ten days,” Fred wrote on Instagram. “theres been a lot of biggg mad crazy moments in the last year but basically all of these are about really very small quiet intimate moments.”

“Some of them are like the most intensely joyful things i have felt, and some of them are the other side of things,” he continued. “and some days I don’t want to speak about loads cos I’m not the only person it was an important day for if that makes sense.”

Alongside previously released fan-favorite singles like “adore u” with Obongjayar and “places to be” with Anderson .Paak and CHIKA, the tracklist for ten days features coveted IDs from Fred’s recent landmark performances at Bonnaroo, EDC Las Vegas, and the LA Memorial Coliseum, including “ten” with Jozzy and Jim Legxacy and “glow,” a collaboration with the aforementioned dance music stars, Skrillex, Four Tet and Duskus. Check out the full tracklist below.

Fred’s last full-length studio album, Actual Life 3, arrived in November 2022 and went on to win a 2024 Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album this past February. More recently, he collaborated with Brian Eno on their 2023 ambient LP, Secret Life, and launched his rave-oriented compilation, USB, which will continue to grow as an “infinite album.”
