Fred again.. Performs Tiny Desk Concert With Live Instruments & Vocals

Fred again.. continues his musical reign with his own addition to the Tiny Desk Concert series on NPR Music. In this performance, he foregoes his usual beatpads and CDJs and instead plays live piano, marimba, and xylophone while DJing.

His completely live set is a feat of musical skill as he plays tracks like “Delilah (pull me out of this)” and “Roze (forgive)” alongside video versions of the vocals and samples featured in the song.

Fred again.. also sings live during the set, using his headphones as a microphone and showcasing the raw vocal talent sometimes eclipsed in his high-energy sets.

Speaking about the concert on his social media, Fred again.. said, “I spent weeks practicing this and learning instruments I hadn’t played for years to try and make this as special as I possibly could. EVVERRRYYYY thing you hear in this I play totally live. And there are some sounds I really couldn’t believe we were able to make like this.”

Fred again..’s ability to captivate with live performances has been instrumental in his quick rise to headliner status with his Coachella performance garnering him praise before his Boiler Room set exploded across the internet.
