Water is key in keeping you hydrated at music festivals. Imagine not having any free water at EDC Las Vegas. It would result in deaths and major health complications for festival-goers. Dancing in the sun for hours takes a toll on your body.
The Mayor of Amsterdam knows that lack of free water can pose problems. So, he is doing something about it.
He wants all music festivals in Amsterdam to offer free water. Mayor Van Der Laan’s bill requires festival organizers to supply free, unlimited water at every event. His bill will become law at the end of the year. This means free water stations will be everywhere next year at festivals across Amsterdam.
Let’s hope this movement heads to the United States next!
