Fyre Festival Class Action Settlement Would Give $7,226 To Ticket Holders

Fyre Festival Co-founder, Billy McFarland, is at the center of the settlement

A class-action settlement has been filed against Fyre Festival organizer, Billy McFarland, which would result in 277 Fyre Festival ticket holders receiving payments of $7,226. It has been reported that the class action agreement was reached last Tuesday, April 13, however, may still be changed.

Fyre Festival was one of the most (if not the most) horrendous festivals of all time. Organizers falsely advertised, drastically underprepared, and blatantly fabricated what most people thought was one of the most exciting, up-and-coming festivals of our generation. Instead, attendees arrived at a festival whose venue location and amenities were not as advertised. Festival-goers immediately took to social media and did not hold back on expressing their disgust and disbelief.

It will be interesting to see how this settlement plays out, and if any other settlements are brought forward as a result. We will keep you up to date as this story progresses.
