G Jones Takes His Project To The Next Level With His New Album, ‘Paths’

Experimental bass pioneer, G Jones, has set the world on fire with his highly anticipated album Paths, dropping today through Illusory Records.

This album stands as a worthy successor to his 2018 Billboard Top 10 electronic album of the year, The Ineffable Truth, and he will showcase Paths in a live spectacle, making its global premiere on Sunday, October 15 during his headline event at the renowned Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Paths transcends traditional categorizations, unveiling a breathtaking opus where G Jones effortlessly navigates the sonic spectrum through a masterful fusion of breakbeat, IDM, ambient, trap, and experimental music.

Each track within this project is a unique portal, beckoning listeners to immerse themselves in uncharted sonic dimensions adorned with mind-bending textures and intricate soundscapes.

With a remarkable 70 million streams, a place in the running for “Best Producer” in DJ Mags Best of North America Awards for 2023, and an extensive 26-date headline bus tour spanning the nation, G Jones is undeniably furthering his reputation as a force in modern dance music.

When speaking about how Paths came to life, G Jones states, “I’ve been working on the Paths Live show all year, remixing and reformatting songs from Paths as well as the rest of my catalog for live performance, and also doing multi-day IRL work sessions with my team of visual collaborators, building this new show from scratch. I can hardly contain my excitement about it all. I’ve been discovering so many new ways to perform my songs in a live context, and really believe that the audiovisual aspect of the show will be far beyond anything we’ve done before.”
