Galantis Announces Fourth Studio Album ‘Rx’

Galantis has announced that his fourth full-length studio album, Rx, will arrive via Big Beat Records on May 17, 2024.

Described in a press release as Swedish producer Christian Karlsson’s “most soul-baring work yet,” the album follows up on themes of personal struggle shared in 2015’s Pharmacy, famous for hits like “Peanut Butter Jelly” and the triple-platinum-selling “Runaway (U & I).”

Pharmacy was when I knew I was neurodivergent and I knew the studio was like a pharmacy for me. I was the patient,” Karlsson said. “Rx is when I found medication. For me, it was key, but of course, everyone walks their own path.”

From “years of suffering in silence” to an official ADHD diagnosis and medical treatment, Rx explores Karlsson’s now-public mental health journey, culminating in a reflective body of work spanning 14 tracks.

The album will feature previously released Galantis singles such as “Koala,” “Lighter” with David Guetta and 5 Seconds of Summer, and the fittingly titled “BANG BANG! (My Neurodivergent Anthem),” alongside the newly shared “Dust.” Find a complete tracklist for Rx below.

With the advent of festival season and the new album launch, Karlsson’s summer touring schedule will include appearances at Dallas’ Ubbi Dubbi, Sweden’s Brännbollsyran Festival, S2O Hong Kong, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Pacha Ibiza. Find a complete list of tour dates here.
