For those who are unaware, Goldenvoice hosts music festivals such as Coachella and Stagecoach; and they are currently in talks with Riverside County about helping with the logistics for a mass COVID-19 vaccination site.
A recent Board of Supervisors meeting resulted in supervisor Manuel Perez stating that there would need to be expert logistical planning if the mass COVID-19 vaccination site were to move forward. He also mentioned that Goldenvoice is “willing to be helpful and supportive” throughout the entire process.
So far, Riverside County has vaccinated more than 28,000 people. It will be interesting to see how this discussion progresses, and if a mass vaccination site is actually implemented.
