EDM-Themed Bubble Tea Shop Debuts In San Francisco

A new bubble tea shop with an EDM theme made its soft debut at the end of March in San Francisco’s Richmond District.

Named Gosu, the tea shop has a lounge-like interior and even a gaming section. To go with the EDM theme, the shop features LED screens everywhere and have them playing all sort of EDM related content.

Customers can order from the drink menu which consists of cleverly named teas, lemonades, and fruit juices. And once Gosu fully opens, you will find on the menu fruit sushi, back-wrapped avocado fries, mini octopus corn dogs and much more.

22 year-old entrepreneur and owner Joey Tran is an advocate of the philosophy that the rave community practices, Peace, Love, Unity and Respect (PLUR). In his shop you will even find the “PLUR wall” where you will see dozens of kandi bracelets hanging from the wall, as well as wall of local events.

Tran is already working on new concepts for Gosu. He plans to have local Bay Area DJ’s spin at the shop and is working on partnering with Norcal Lights, a competition group that gloves. In order to keep the audience intrigued, he plans to change up the food and drink menu every year.

The full launch of Gosu is planned to be early May. For more information, visit their Facebook page. Follow GOSU on Instagram.
