For the first time in five years, GRiZ is heading back to Red Rocks.
After teasing show dates on social media yesterday, the funky dubstep favorite confirmed today that he’ll headline Morrison, Colorado’s world-famous outdoor amphitheater with four sets over two nights on September 2-3. GRiZ last played Red Rocks on Labor Day 2021. The upcoming shows also mark his first in the Denver area since his return from a nearly two-year performance hiatus in October 2025.
The Michigan-born, Denver-based artist will play two sets each night on his awaited Colorado comeback. In addition to nightly headline performances, night one opens with GRiZ’s downtempo Chasing the Golden Hour set, while night two brings a bonus opening performance. More support acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
“Red Rocks, there just isn’t a place i would rather play music at in Colorado..,” GRiZ wrote on Instagram today. “I have put so much of my heart over the years into that space and I want to continue writing this story here where it feels like home.”
The announcement arrives less than two weeks after the release of GRIZ’s new album, Future Funk Volume 1, as the producer, DJ, and saxophonist continues one of the most significant performance runs of his career. After returning to the stage at the inaugural edition of his own sold-out Seven Stars Festival last fall, GRiZ has rolled on to sold-out headline events across North America, including GRIZTRONICS at the Gorge alongside Subtronics, a surprise Do LaB performance at Coachella, Okeechobee, Bonnaroo, and more.
As the artist continues his philanthropic efforts, $1 from every Red Rocks ticket sold will be donated to the GRiZ Charity Network, supporting music education, harm reduction and other community-focused nonprofit initiatives.
Pre-sale registration for GRiZ at Red Rocks is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access begins this Thursday, June 18, at 10AM MT. General on-sale will follow on the same date at 2PM MT.
