It’s the beginning of a new era for Gryffin, who has unveiled “LAST OF US,” the first single off of his forthcoming third studio album, PULSE.
With vocals from internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Rita Ora, “LAST OF US” serves as the trailhead for Gryffin’s newest journey on PULSE, inspired by the progressive sounds of the 2000s that sparked his own dance music love affair.
Euphoric synthwork and lively, pulsating basslines set the tone for Ora’s magnetic vocals on the track, telling a heartwarming love story that fits right in with Gryffin’s harmonious balance of dancefloor fun and emotive lyricism.
“‘LAST OF US’ gets back to the feelings and emotions I got when I first fell in love with dance music,” Gryffin–AKA Dan Griffith–shared in a press release. “I wanted this to have a euphoric, anthemic feel to it, but also be very emotional at the same time. Rita Ora completely elevated the song to another level once she brought her vocals into the track, and I’m so happy with how this turned out.”
Set to arrive later this year on Virgin Music, PULSE will be Gryffin’s first full-length LP since 2022’s Alive–a follow-up to his 2019 debut album, Gravity, which included fan-favorite tunes like “All You Need To Know” with SLANDER and “Tie Me Down” with Elley Duhé.
This spring and summer, the platinum and gold-certified producer will bring the new album to life with performances at festivals like Ultra Miami and Veld, in addition to the return of his Wynn Nightlife residency in Las Vegas.
