Hard Day Of The Dead Will Not Be Held This Year

After a problematic summer, the creator of HARD, Gary Richards aka Destructo, announced there will not be a halloween music festival this year.

Richards said he decided back in January not to move ahead with Day of the Dead this year because of “production reasons.” He said preparing for two festivals at two new locations so close together would have been too much of a stress on resources. This marks the first time since 2008 that Hard will not be throwing a music festival for Halloween.

You may recall 3 people died after attending HARD SUMMER this past summer in Fontana. The San Bernardino County Coroner has not yet released causes of death. 2 people died after attending HARD SUMMER in 2015 at the Pomona Fairplex. No word on if the deaths were a decision in calling off Day of the Dead.
