Sebastian Ingrosso & Steve Angello Refresh Buy Now Project For First Music Since 2008

Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, two members of the famed trio Swedish House Mafia, just made their return as the side project Buy Now for their first new music since 2008.

After a 14-year hiatus, Buy Now returned earlier this year for “Let You Do This” with Salvatore Ganacci, a groovy and upbeat track that emanates positive and sunny energy.

But it seems like the Buy Now project is ready for a relaunch as their two new singles, “Church” and “Speak Up” with PARISI, were released just before the New Year.

“Church” is funky and acidic with a bouncing beat perfect for an underground warehouse and nonstop dancing. “Speak Up” begins more somber and has a melodic intro and moody synth buildup that adds a dreamy element before dropping into a modern breakbeat breakdown. The two singles are vastly different but prove that both Angello and Ingrosso are still masterful producers and collaborators.

Steve Angello spoke on Twitter about the duo’s decision to release the two songs: “We haven’t released ‘Buy Now’ music since 2008 so 2022 felt like a good start to fuck around in the studio and put out music.  First we did the collaboration with Salvatore Ganacci and today we let you take part of a long night at Church studios in London with our brothers PARISI!”
