Insomniac East has announced a brand new, two-day, house & techno festival over Memorial Day weekend at Lot 54 at The Vanguard in Orlando, Florida. The event was announced on Pasquale’s Instagram story tonight.
The party will very likely be branded as Factory 93, Insomniac’s house & techno brand. Factory 93 allows artists to “celebrate radical ideas through the fusion of immersive live art, cutting-edge technology, and exceptionally curated house and techno.”
The festival will take place from May 28-29 with the lineup to be announced very soon. Even though the lineup has not been announced yet, we can expect it to be filed with some of the biggest names in the house & techno communities. As a result of Insomniac’s newly announced East Coast event, the company has continued to acquire major stakes in Florida venues and festivals.
Insomniac currently has an ownership stake in Club Space Miami and Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival, a Florida-based dubstep, and bass festival. On top of that, Insomniac has expanded its East Coast presence by continuing to host EDC Orlando and Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. Furthermore, Insomniac acquired music promoter Club Glow (who hosts Moonrise Festival and InfieldFest) as well as East Coast venues Echostage and Soundcheck.
Now, Insomniac has announced Abduction 2021: The Florida Invasion, as well as their newly announced two-day, house & techno festival which will be taking place this year over Memorial Day weekend.
We will update you with more information once it’s released.
