With the 2024 edition of EDC Las Vegas less than 50 days away, Insomniac has today announced the beneficiaries of its 2024 EDC Las Vegas Charity Auction.
Building up to the industry-leading festival promoter’s 500,000-strong massive, which kicks off on May 17, Insomniac’s seventh annual charity auction will raise funds for Clark County, Nevada non-profits Camp Alamo and Share Village Las Vegas.
In its mission to eliminate homelessness, poverty and hunger in the United States, Share Village Las Vegas houses over 500 veterans and their families each night across its three area living campuses.
The charity offers both transitional and permanent affordable rental housing, in addition to distributing fresh food, emergency supplies, pet food, and more to their community residents. Share Village also works with local partners to provide direct access to medical, mental health, and addiction services, job training and employment placement.
Operated by the University of Nevada, Reno’s 4H program, Camp Alamo is a new children’s camp for Clark County youth, providing extracurricular education with an array of STEM and outdoor activities.
Pillars of the Camp Alamo program include teaching leadership skills, responsibility, communication and problem-solving through research-based activities in the fields of science, natural resources, robotics, agriculture and health, among others.
2024 charity auction bidding will open on Monday, April 8 at 12PM PT and run through Friday, April 26 at 8PM PT. During this window, fans can place bids on over 40 unique EDC experiences, via Insomniac’s online auction house partner Amplifyd.
The auction’s 45 prizes won’t be unveiled until the bidding window opens, but a few of last year’s packages included a meet-and-greet with Zedd, roasting s’mores with Marshmello, backstage access and Insomniac’s coveted “Golden Festival Ticket,” which granted the winner entry to every Insomniac festival for the entire year.
Insomniac’s 2023 EDC Charity Auction donations totaled over $107,000, benefitting Camp Alamo and the Inspiring Children Foundation.
