Insomniac Events has announced a huge run of Los Angeles fire benefit shows, with 100 percent of the net proceeds donated to those impacted by the ongoing wildfires devastating communities across the city.
Over the next two weekends, the powerhouse promoter’s teams will come together to host 16 shows across its Southern California venues Academy LA, AVALON Hollywood, Exchange LA, NOVA SD, and Bloom SD, Insomniac announced today. All proceeds will go to charities aiding in the rebuild and rehabilitation efforts for fire victims and first responders.
“Los Angeles, your strength & resilience inspire us,” Insomniac wrote on social media. “We’re honored to host a series of LA Fire Benefit shows featuring incredible artists who have generously donated their time.”
Fan-favorite trap artist JSTJR will kick things off tomorrow, January 16, with his “Group Chat” show at Academy LA, followed by anticipated events from Oliver Heldens, Flosstradamus, Bear Grillz, SVDDEN DEATH, SLANDER B2B NGHTMRE, Deorro, Night Trip, Emo Nite, and many more throughout the rest of the month.
In its announcement, Insomniac added that more charity events will be announced soon. Check out the full schedule of events below.
At the time of writing, rapidly spreading wildfires across the Los Angeles area have killed at least 25 people, displaced tens of thousands of residents, and burned over 60 square miles, per CBS News. As strong winds remain, the Palisades and Eaton fires continue to burn out of control, according to officials. Learn how you can help here.
