Insomniac and Tomorrowland are officially bringing a collaborative show to the Las Vegas Sphere.
The powerhouse Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) promoter and Belgian festival giant announced on social media today that “UNITY,” a new audiovisual experience combining the two brands’ distinct creative universes, will debut at the high-tech Las Vegas this Labor Day weekend, August 29-31.
Though details are scarce at the time of writing, the event is said to be a “multi-sensory celebration of music and mind-altering visuals,” where “the magic of Tomorrowland and Insomniac become one,” according to the event’s new website.
The site also indicates that this audiovisual experience will travel through Tomorrowland’s “Planaxis,” “Adscendo,” and “Orbyz” themes and Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland, Escape Halloween, and EDC festivals, with a selection of tracks curated from across dance music history.
The show, which will make use of the Sphere’s 580,000-square-foot LED wall, will build to a crescendo with TBA special guest DJs joining the party for a final closing set. These artists will be revealed in the coming months.
Following several cryptic social media posts shared by Insomniac and Tomorrowland that hinted at the forthcoming collaboration, the announcement marks a historic convergence of two of dance music’s most powerful brands.
Pre-sale registration for “Insomniac x Tomorrowland present UNITY” at the Las Vegas Sphere is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin this Monday, March 31 at xxx local time. General on-sale will begin the following Monday, April 7.
