It’s been one week since Jkyl & Hyde and fkblnde dropped “Glitter,” and we can’t get enough.
The pair’s bass-heavy update on fkblnde’s 2025 hit landed to acclaim last Wednesday after months of soundtracking major dancefloor moments throughout Jkyl & Hyde’s biggest year yet.
A fan-favorite play during the dynamic bass artist’s awaited debut at Electric Forest last month, the trending tune injects fkblnde’s recognizable dance-pop croon with growling low-end frequencies as Jkyl & Hyde continues to diversify his sonic output following the viral success of his markedly melodic 2025 EP, Second Self.
In a diversion from the breakneck dubstep with which he entered the scene almost a decade ago, the Atlanta-based producer and DJ’s genre-melding six-tracker blew up online and posited Jkyl & Hyde as one of experimental bass’ closest-watched creatives late last year.
Fusing garage, deep bass, and trap influences, it’s a sound he’s continued to explore and develop across more highly touted productions such as “HORSEPOWER” with Nikita, the Wicked, “Left Right Center” with D38, and his remix of LAXX’s “Step One,” all of which made their rounds as some of the scene’s most closely guarded IDs prior to their release this year.
