John Summit is sitting on a pile of over 30 new tracks, including unreleased music with famed collaborator Hayla.
After Summit shared that he was in debut “album mode” last week, one fan reached out to the house artist via X, formerly Twitter, to ask just how many songs he’s completed since arriving in the UK “to do nothing but write music.”
Summit replied, “30+ and I’m gonna need the world’s entire supply of adderall once I get back home to finish producing all of them.”
Based on recent social media posts, Summit has been hard at work in London since November 13, where he has linked up in the studio with a host of fan-favorite artists like Sub Focus, Elderbrook, and Becky Hill.
Hayla, the British singer-songwriter who teamed up with Summit for their smash hit “Where You Are,” also shared a recent studio snapshot via Instagram Stories. A photo of her and Summit side by side was cleverly captioned, “I GET THIS FEELING… ANOTHER HIT IS IN THE WORKS.”
Summit’s dance music dominance has continued to make waves in mainstream popular culture as well. Today, Forbes placed the 29-year-old accountant-turned-DJ on their “30 Under 30” list in the music category for 2024.
Crossing off a number of “firsts” before the turn of the new year, Summit will follow his first-ever residency performance at the grand opening of Las Vegas’ new LIV Nightclub on December 14 with his first-ever stadium headline show in Los Angeles on December 16.
