The highly anticipated rebrand of John Summit‘s record label has arrived.
After trademark drama surrounding the label’s previous name, Off The Grid Records, resulted in a cease-and-desist letter, internet pandemonium, and an eventual agreement to rebrand, Summit has unveiled “Experts Only Records” as the new name for his imprint.
Sharing the news on social media today, Summit wrote:
“We’re taking what we learned over the past year and taking things to new heights.. music & events without limits and a home for rising talent across the world; the next chapter begins now.”
As of today, all of the label’s social media accounts have been adjusted to reflect the new name, along with a fitting new ski-themed logo, and a new website is up and running with some newly minted merchandise up for sale.
As indicated by Summit, Experts Only will likely operate just as Off The Grid did before, not only acting as a record label but also as an event production brand.
The announcement comes on the heels of Summit’s most recent single, “Fade Out (with MKLA),” which debuted just a few weeks ago as the label’s final release under the name Off The Grid.
