John Summit To Hit The Slopes For Experts Only Show In Vail Next Month

John Summit and Experts Only Records are heading to Colorado next month to shred the slopes and shred the decks at a special one-night-only event.

The very first Experts Only “ski trip” will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Vail’s Ford Park, where Summit will perform a headline set. Potential support acts are yet to be announced.

The house producer and DJ has been an avid skier throughout his life, a hobby reflected in his stage name–John “Summit”–and even more evidently in the post-rebrand identity of his label, which takes its name from the warning phrase emblazoned on signs along double black diamond ski trails.

Having taken family trips to Colorado ski resorts like Breckinridge and Beaver Creek as a child, Summit now returns to the Rocky Mountains as a bonafide superstar.

His smash hit “Where You Are” helped define an utterly dominant 2023, which wrapped up with Summit’s first-ever Las Vegas residency performance, a first-ever stadium headline show in Los Angeles and even an inclusion on Forbes’ 2024 “30 Under 30” list. Summit also headlined Red Rocks this past summer and his debut album is currently in the works.

Experts Only also had an impressive year. Guided by an ethos of “music and events without limits,” the label released tunes from rising stars like Kyle Walker, Mau P, Odd Mob and OMNOM, and hosted high-energy events at Miami Music Week, Art Basel and The Caverns.

Pre-sale ticket access for Experts Only presents John Summit – Vail will begin this Monday, January 8, at 10AM local time. Fans can register for pre-sale access here.
