John Summit and Hayla, the current Batman and Robin of electronic music, have unveiled their second collaboration together, “Shiver.”

After the electrifying success of “Where You Are” back in 2023, it is only fitting that their follow-up track sounds just as spectacular.

First teased on a combined social media post in November of last year, the release of “Shiver” has been highly anticipated by fans globally. John Summit’s multifaceted production style along with Hayla’s vocals and songwriting have made the track a perfect recipe to be the song of the year.

In an exclusive quote for EDM Maniac, Hayla said, “It’s been amazing to be able to work with John again and writing, producing and recording the track in London together was extra special. The lyrics of this song have such a universal meaning.”

She continued, ” ‘Shiver’ is all about the moment when you finally start to feel your emotions again and feel alive! Being with that one person or group of people makes you want to live in that moment forever….I feel it now … want this forever. The shiver is the tingle you get; the spark through your whole body, just like electricity.”

“Shiver” was also performed live for the first time at Summit’s sold-out BMO Stadium show this past December. Hayla flew in from England to sing her two collaborations with him live, which was met with a crowd of 20,000+ fans singing the lyrics alongside her.

John Summit is also set to play at EDC Mexico, Miami Music Week, and Coachella Music Festival with Hayla gearing up to release her own debut album in October 2024.
