John Summit has revealed that his upcoming Experts Only show in Tahoe, Nevada this weekend will be canceled due to severe weather.
Roughly an hour ago, the fan-favorite house artist shared a statement on social media that reads as follows:
“heads up we’re working on a formal statement for @expertsonly tahoe but due to the severe weather we will be offering full refunds, more info coming soon.. safety first and foremost always.”
Following Summit’s debut ski-themed label showcase in Vail, Colorado earlier this month, the second “Experts Only ski trip” was scheduled to take place at the Tahoe Blue Event Center, this Saturday, March 2.
The National Weather Service has currently issued a Blizzard Warning for the greater Lake Tahoe region, scheduled to remain in effect through March 3 at 10AM PT.
Meteorologists have forecasted “extremely heavy snow,” with “white out conditions” expected to make travel in the area “nearly impossible.” Snowfall projections range from 5-12 feet at altitudes above 5,000 feet.
Summit continued, writing, “this [Experts Only Tahoe] will be a big hit but i really want to do this for a lifetime so it’s worth not taking the risk and making sure we do it bigger and better for u guys next time.”

Refund information and a potential new date for the event are expected to be announced in the coming days.
