Knock2 has set the official release date for his debut album, nolimit.
The bass house and trap wunderkind announced on social media today that the LP will arrive via 88rising on January 17, 2025, ending nearly a year’s wait for nolimit after an initial announcement that it would arrive sometime in 2024.
“thx all for ur patience,” Knock2—real name Richard Nakhonethap—wrote on Instagram. I’m ready to share that my debut album ‘nolimit’ is coming out January 17th. fr this time.”
The San Diego producer and DJ added that the project will feature 14 new tracks, in addition to previously released singles “feel U luv me,” “hold my hand,” and his latest, “come aliv3,” a speedy house-meets-trap collaboration with industry mentor RL Grime.
The announcement follows a career-defining year for Knock2, who teamed up with his longtime friend and fellow San Diego-native ISOxo to release their scene-defining debut ISOKNOCK LP, 4EVR; rock festival stages at Coachella, Ultra Japan, and North Coast; and launch a series of curated events, underscored by a historic San Diego homecoming last weekend. In 2025, they’ll up the ante with their own festival.
As he steps out with his solo project next year, Knock2 will embark on a 20-city album tour, bringing brand new stage production, his newest cuts, and defining hits like “dashstar*” and “Rock Ur World” to cities such as Denver, Austin, Atlanta, Toronto, New York, Sydney, and more from February to April 2025.
