Kx5 Hints At Signature Sound With Third Dramatic Release “Alive”

Kx5 just dropped their third official track “Alive” featuring American alternative rock group The Moth & The Flame, another hint of what to expect from the legendary duo as they continue to dominate.

“Alive” is tougher and grittier with The Moth & The Flame’s vocals adding a rock-indie influence further rounded out by the dramatic swells of the atmosphere. The track has a similar use of melodic synths and progressive builds to “Take Me High”, showcasing another taste of what could be Kx5’s signature sound.

The Moth & The Flame may sound familiar as they previously collaborated with Kaskade on two of his more recent tracks “Haunt Me” and “ICE v3.”

Kx5, consisting of iconic producers deadmau5 and Kaskade, have some big things coming later in 2022 and beyond. The duo is slated for a highly-anticipated performance at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum this December as well as an impending album sometime in the future.

Listen to “Alive” below and tickets to the performance at the LA Coliseum are still available here.
