Lane 8 has just announced that This Never Happened’s Summer Gatherings are returning for 2024.
The party series from Lane 8’s acclaimed deep house imprint will feature three shows. The first Summer Gathering will be held at San Diego’s Gallagher Square on May 4, followed by a gig at Dillon, Colorado’s Dillon Amphitheater on August 31 and a final show at Vancouver’s Malkin Bowl on September 7.
Each show will feature a two-hour closing set from Lane 8, “supported by a lineup from the TNH label family.”
“These shows have come to mean so much to me–the beautiful settings, the locked-in crowds, and the chance to connect with and showcase our best and brightest label artists makes for such a rewarding experience from my perspective,” Lane 8 wrote on Instagram.
In line with the label’s creed, “Experience the moment. Don’t record it,” Lane 8 added that This Never Happened will utilize Yondr’s innovative phone-locking technology at each show to ensure that the dancefloor remains “a phone and photo-free space.”
Ahead of the newly announced Summer Gatherings, This Never Happened will kick off 2024 with the label’s first-ever North American tour, beginning this weekend in Los Angeles. Making further stops in San Diego, Seattle, Chicago, Washington D.C. and more, the 13-date tour will feature performances from label artists like Massane, EMBRZ, OCULA, Avoure and Rinzen.
Pre-sale registration for This Never Happened’s 2024 Summer Gatherings is now available here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin this Thursday, January 25 at 10AM local time, before general on-sale opens Friday, January 26 at 10AM local time.
