LEGO Superfan & DJ Makes Working CDJs From LEGOs

A LEGO superfan and DJ, Megragadó Gladiátor Ezredes, has created a working replica of the Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus all out of LEGOs.

The 2,628-piece set has several working features including a USB stick socket, a tempo fader that can be adjusted, a CD slot, two individual LED panels that can be replaced, a working jogwheel like on a real turntable, and a knob for scrolling through tracks.

The LEGO CDJ player was submitted as an idea on LEGO Ideas, a place for everyday LEGO enthusiasts to submit their ideas in order to be turned into an actual buyable and buildable set.

The idea needs 10,000 supporters to move forward in becoming a real-life set and currently has around 2,000 as of the writing of this article.

According to the comments, Ezredes is already working on a mixer too, planning it in his head to be a replica of a DJM 900.
