Live Nation To Require Full Vaccination Or Negative COVID Test At All Venues And Events

Beginning October 4, 2021 the worldwide concert and event promoter, Live Nation, will require COVID-19 vaccination or proof negative test from artists, crew, staff and attendees at all Live Nation events and venues. In addition, all Live Nation employees are required to be fully vaccinated by the October 4 deadline.

This new directive is more strict compared to their previous directive, in which artists could require vaccination and negative tests at their discretion.

“Vaccines are going to be your ticket back to shows, and as of October 4th we will be following the model we developed for Lollapalooza and requiring this for artists, fans and employees at Live Nation venues and festivals everywhere possible in the US,” Live Nation president and CEO Michael Rapino said in a statement to Rolling Stone.

Fellow global event promoter, AEG Presents, also recently announced a similar directive requiring vaccinations at all their events and venues beginning October 1, 2021. AEG Presents producing many notable events including Coachella.
