Lost Frequencies and Bastille have teamed up to release a surprise holiday gift listeners already love: their new single “Head Down”.
Lost Frequencies, real name Felix De Laet, has become a global sensation performing on Tomorrowland’s main stage multiple years in a row alongside other stages around the world.
“Head Down” is an uplifting house ballad sung by none other than Dan Smith of Bastille. “Don’t hang your head down, head down” is the main tagline in this song, encouraging listeners to keep their heads held high and look forward when life is getting them down. The melodic chorus is followed up by a catchy house beat with horns and piano in the background.
De Laet released his album, All Stand Together, earlier this year including his hit anthems “Where Are You Now” with Callum Scott and “Questions” with James Arthur.
This album is full of surprises as it is not just a house album, it includes many other genres and surprising collaborations as well. Drum and Bass record “Leave You In The Past” with Netsky also makes an appearance on the LP.
Bastille have become a global sensation in their own right. Hailing from Britain, this band have been a part of some of dance music’s biggest hits such as “Happier” with Marshmello.
“Pompei” also launched the band into the international spotlight, and “Head Down” is set to be their biggest record yet, with anticipation stemming from a song teaser posted on Instagram.
Lost Frequencies is heading on a North American tour in the spring of 2024, get tickets here.
