LP Giobbi And Goose Team Up For A Fitting New Cross-Genre Collaboration

Piano-house extraordinaire LP Giobbi has teamed up with fan-favorite jam band Goose for a very special project premiering today.

With “mutual respect and admiration for each other’s distinctive craft,” LP Giobbi and Goose have put their own spin on their favorite tracks from the other to create all new and exciting pieces.

Goose has reimagined LP Giobbi’s “All I Need,” from her critically acclaimed debut album Light Places, with an “instant dance-rock classic.” The new version sees Goose lead singer and guitarist Rick Mitarotonda’s vocals carry the melody for one of LP Giobbi’s biggest songs.

LP Giobbi has returned the favor with her remix of Goose’s horn-heavy anthem “Arrow” from their 2022 studio album Dripfield, transforming the song’s tropical vibes to fall in line with her own uplifting house music sound.

The collaboration is fitting for LP Giobbi—a self-proclaimed “dead head” who has previously brought the two festival-favorite genres together with a Jerry Garcia remix album and special “Dead House” sets, even playing after parties for Dead & Company on their last tour.

“Goose is my favorite band to come out of the jam scene in a long time,” LP Giobbi said. “It is a true honor to get to work with this insanely talented group of folks. The through lines between the jam band and dance world continue to excite me and I’m so grateful Goose let me try my hand at one of my favorite tracks of theirs.”

Mitarotonda commented, “I’ve loved the idea of having our songs remixed for a long time. It’s so cool to hear the way LP dissected, re-harmonized, and made ‘Arrow’ into a proper dance party. She’s amazing.”
