MAKJ, born as Mackenzie Johnson, has always been an individual unafraid of trying new things. Raised on California’s central coast, he ventured to China as a teenager to pursue his childhood passion for go-kart racing, eventually enjoying a professional racing career.

It was during his visits to Macao’s nightclubs with his racing teammates that he discovered his love for DJing. Since then, Johnson’s journey as a DJ and producer has skyrocketed, gracing the stages of some of the world’s most prestigious music festivals.
