MARAUDA has canceled a string of upcoming tour dates to prioritize his health.
Following his performance at Denver’s Supernatural Halloween event last weekend, the tearout dubstep titan announced on Instagram Stories today that he is scrapping five previously scheduled shows from November 1-28, including his “Retribution Tour” stops in Fayetteville, Boise, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City.
He’ll then return to the stage for Insomniac’s Apocalypse Zombieland bass music festival in Long Beach on November 29, and finish out the tour with stops in Chicago and Buffalo through December 13. Refund information for the canceled dates has not been announced.
Now nearly three months into the would-be 28-date “Retribution” run, which began on August 8, MARAUDA wrote, “I’ve realized I need a break for my mental health and family time after touring rigorously.”
“I’m really sorry to anyone who was excited,” he continued. “Your support means the world, and I’m looking forward to getting back to writing music. To anyone who has ever f***ed with my s*** I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
In addition to touring heavily, the Australian-based artist and riddim frontrunner dropped off five new solo releases this year, including hard-hitting singles “GLEEFUL GOD,” “BLUDGEON,” and “RETRIBUTION,” and two EPs, PRIMAL PHANTOM and the OLDE GUARDE EP.
